BT Redcare announces AddSecure collaboration
Recently, BT Redcare announced a partnership with AddSecure, a European secure IoT connectivity and alarm signalling company. This partnership aims to maintain BT Redcare's 'Next Generation' fire and security alarm signalling services in the UK.
What impact will BT Redcare's partnership with AddSecure have on its customers?
As BT Redcare is set to cease operations in August 2025, AddSecure will manage customer relationships with alarm-receiving centres currently using BT Redcare's Next Generation portfolio of alarm signalling devices. This means existing devices won’t need replacing, reducing disruption for customers. Additionally, BT Redcare customers using legacy products can upgrade to the next-gen portfolio with AddSecure.
According to BT Redcare and AddSecure, this partnership will deliver:
- Continuity of service: BT Redcare plans to close its operations in August 2025, and AddSecure will step in to manage customer relationships and support its business operations.
- Migration expertise: AddSecure will ensure a smooth transition for BT Redcare customers. They will prioritise migrating outdated technology to modern digital platforms, improving services and support throughout the process.
BT Redcare is committed to ensuring this collaboration supports service continuity and provides expertise during the transition.
